Boa Constrictor

The Boa Constrictor is the most common snake in the National Park. They live close the mangrove and can get up to quite a few meters in length. They are not venomous and not very dangerous.

Other Snakes

There are Coral Snakes, Brown Vine Snakes, and Yellow Bellied Sea Snake (extremely venomous, but super tiny mouth) are among the other most common snakes we’ve seen throughout Playa Grande, Costa Rica.
