Estuary Excursion

Estuary coastline in Las Baulas National Park in Playa Grande, Costa Rica
The estuary (mangrove)

The mangrove in between Tamarindo and Playa Grande, Costa Rica is one of the biggest in all of Central America.  It is teeming with wildlife from American Crocodiles to Howler Monkeys to all types of Herons and birds.  There are two types of mangrove excursions. One is in a canoe that leaves at 6am where you paddle yourself and immerse yourself in the tranquil stillness.  The other is on a motorboat where you will be able to cover more area and have a better chance to see wildlife.  Both cost $30.

The mangrove is a beautiful natural wonder in the Leatherback Marine National Park here in Playa Grande, Costa Rica.  It is a must see while staying here with us at Indra Inn.
