Howler Monkey

Howler Monkeys are all black with long prehensile tails. They travel in troops of up to 20. They are the loudest land mammal based on their size and the second loudest mammal behind the Blue Whale. They love papaya leaves and mangos and we get monkeys on the property of Indra Inn often.

Other Monkeys

There are Spider Monkeys and White-Faced Monkeys, as well as Howler Monkeys in Rincon de La Vieja, the volcano north of Playa Grande.
