Rufous-naped Wren

The Rufous-naped Wren is usually the first bird that we hear in the morning. They have a melodious song and pleasant calls. The love the cashew apple tree on the property of Indra Inn.

Band-backed Wren

While we have never seen a Band-backed Wren here in the Leatherback Marine National Park, they are in the Guanacaste region and are a bird watchers favorite.

Other Wrens

Other wrens that you can see in Playa Grande include the Bay Wren and the House Wren.
